Great place to hike. Just 45 minutes from BR. Decent scenery and fairly challenging. There are some pretty steep climbs and a nice sandy creekbed to explore. Trails are well marked but it can be difficult to distinguish one route from the other. Its not a big place so it is tough to get truly lost but we encountered several hikers who were turned around and didn't really know which trail they were on.

Took my family out here to hike the trails and enjoy nature. It is a beautiful area and the trails run down a creek. You will get muddy and parts of the trails will be difficult for younger kids but it is good place if you love the outdoors.

Great trails. Very little people. Can get lost (good thing). Was fun.

I really liked the north trail (I believe it is this one) until around A12 when you have to cross an openfield. I would advise to just to go back at this point. The first part (A1 to A12), you get to walk on a dried river, make your way under fallen trees and walk on logs. The difficulty was perfect for us. We could find our way even though it was unclear sometimes. BUT! At A12, the field didn't have a path so we had to go through high grass with sometime very spiky weeds. We after realised we were on a 4x4 track and it stayed like that from A12 to A20, with another high grass area). Because of the high vegetation, we got many ticks stuck on us even though we put a good anti-bugs cream. In summary, if you stop at A12, you will have a great time :). We didn't try the south trail. I believe it is the one that has the "waterfall"

loved it long trails lovely scenery difficult trails, animals birds pond waterfalls nice retreat for a family day trip also free and has camping sights along with the outdooriness it is a spectacular way to spend your day............... so we enjoyed it the kids made it through about a mile and a half had to hoax and carry them the rest of the way. also has 4 wheeler trails and parking
