I have eaten there 3 or 4 times. The service was very slow every time. The last an final time we placer our order and 30 or 40 minutes later we got the attention of our water an asked when was our order coming? She had not even turned in the order. She walked away and another lady came to our table to take our order again. My friend had drank a cop of coffee so I gave the lady $5.00 and we walked out. I believe the last lady to whom I gave the $5.00 was the owner. She had the nerve to accept the $5.00. NEVER AGAIN
It's a great place to hang out. It is not a fast food chain so be prepared to have a conversation and that's something that's great about The Birdman. It's a place to hangout and enjoy other people's company. The food and coffee are great too!
Similar experience to another customer. Our waitress tried to deliver someone else's food to our table and then retook our order, which I assume bumped us to the back of the line, as I saw people who had come in after us get their food, pay, and leave before I got irritated enough to ask where our food was. The reply was that we should be next....? No discount given to our order for having to wait 45 minutes for cold bacon, pretty bad blueberry pancakes, and bland grits. The scrambled eggs were decent but bland. I've bumped from one to two stars because the biscuits are out of this world amazing, and besides the ambiance, the only reason to get breakfast here. Overall, as an out of towner, I won't be back because the food just wasn't that great and the wait was abysmal.
Decided to have breakfast on my fourth visit to this wonderful little gem! It was FANTASTIC! I received it very quickly and it was done perfect! Will definitely have breakfast there again!!!
The Birdman is the heart of St. Francisville. A great place to meet up for breakfast or a snack. Everyone is super friendly.
