This was a beautiful place. The guide we had was wonderful and told the story of the plantation with all the knowledge and confidence needed to draw you into the history. It was well worth the short drive off the highway.
It is far out away from everything and that's the only reason I've given it a 4 star.
Terrific tour guide. Beautiful home and history. It is off the beaten path so a bit of a schlepp to get there but worth it. Gorgeous pillars and beautiful pond nearby
Great place to stay. I was nervous about staying at a B&B due to the whole eating breakfast with strangers thing lol, but the staff and owner were so nice and down to earth, it was a very comfortable experience. Can't wait to go back!
Amazing, very informative tour with spectacular grounds and history. The main house is gorgeous and the view from the B&B is fabulous...with reflections of the home off the pond, live oaks surrounding you making the Greenwood a peaceful, romantic getaway. Very short drive to the local shops, and resturants.
